When you met your school teacher and the first thing he said was: “Gimana nih, pasangan?” And the second was, “Kamu gemuk sekali sekarang!”
I thought teachers would appreciate academic or career achievements more than something personal.
No disrespect, I like the teacher, he was fun and nice and after about 13 years he still remembers my complete name, fully appreciate that, but it kinda hurt.
It hurts that my life achievements (or things that I consider as achievements), are not even mentioned. He didn’t even ask about it.

Maybe he trusts that your academic and professionaL achievement is good (he was your teacher, after aLL) so he didn’t need to ask..?
Perhaps? But I think he didn’t even want to know about it… Or maybe I was just too sensitive.
